Refund & Cancellation Policy

New Cancellation policy effective from 25th of July 2026 for Kudremukha Trek, Netravati, Bandaje, Tadiandamol, Merthigudda, Parsons Valley, Vali Kunja, Gangadikal, Kodachadri, Vattakanal Trek & Narasima Parvatha,

• Cancellations made 45 days before the date of departure 50% refund can be availed. 

• Cancellations made 35 days before the departure refund, future trek credit or transfer of booking won’t be applicable.

Cancellation policy for Gokarna Beach Trek, Kotagiri & Paithalmala Trek. 

• Cancellations made 15 days before the date of departure 80% refund can be availed. 

• Cancellations made 14-10 days before the date of departure 50% refund can be availed. 

• Cancellations made 9 days before the departure refund, future trek credit or transfer of booking won’t be applicable. 

Cancellation policy for backpacking trips .

• Cancellations made 8 days before the date of departure 80% refund can be availed. 

• Cancellations made 7-4 days before the date of departure 25% refund can be availed. 

• Cancellations made 4 days before the departure refund won’t be applicable. 

Cancellation with carry forward of the amount for future events. (To be confirmed 48 hours prior to the departure) Carry forward charges will be Rs.200 for One Day Treks & Rs.500 for Two Day Treks per person. 

Cancellation policy for Antaragange Trek, Kaiwara Betta & Makalidurga Trek

• Cancellations made 15 days before the date of departure 80% refund can be availed. 

• Cancellations made 14-7 days before the date of departure 50% refund can be availed. 

• Cancellations made 7 days before the date of departure refund, future trek credit or transfer of booking won’t be applicable.

Cancellation policy for all one day treks except (Makalidruga, Kaiwara & Antargange)

• Cancellations made 8 days before the date of departure 80% refund can be availed. 

• Cancellations made 7-4 days before the date of departure 25% refund can be availed. 

• Cancellations made 4 days before the departure refund won’t be applicable. 

Cancellation with carry forward of the amount for future events. (To be confirmed 48 hours prior to the departure) Carry forward charges will be Rs.200 for One Day Treks per person.

No-shows:

Customers who do not show up for their scheduled adventure without prior notice will not be eligible for a refund or carry forward of the amount for future events.

Cancellation by BMC Adventures:

In the rare case that BMC Adventures needs to cancel an adventure (e.g., due to weather, safety concerns), customers will be offered the choice of rescheduling or receiving a full refund.
